I don't know exactly what it will be, but something will allow the temple (just the small holy building) to go up. Some think the Dome must come down, but I don't think Scripture supports that. In Ezekiel there is a passage that intimates that it is still there. It will have to be some sort of peace agreement that initially allows it, although it won't last. I think there is something very special planned to bring this about. God did say that He would send a great delusion.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16624728134929059941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1877303688216595760.post-39945520397882936882017-08-11T13:56:17.025-04:002017-08-11T13:56:17.025-04:00That's why I put contrarian in quotes. As for the Third Temple being built, all hell would break loose
if the Jews started construction under the
current political realities. Non Muslims can't even pray on the Temple Mount! Israel
could have controlled the Temple Mount after the Six Day war but chose not to do so.
They allow Muslims to manage the site.
Israel has the power to change the management of the site if they so desire. Something dramatic has to happen in the
future that would allow Jews to build the
the Third Temple on the Temple Mount and
not cause Muslims to go ballistic and riot
all over the Middle East.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02360709654989096433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1877303688216595760.post-25433828877571635292017-08-11T08:34:38.863-04:002017-08-11T08:34:38.863-04:00It's not so much contrarian as biblical. The pre-trib position is based totally on assumptions, misinterpretations of vocabulary (such as tribulation and wrath are the same thing), adding to Scripture, and wishful thinking. When you take what Christ said in Matt. 24 at face value, which is what He intended, He tells you exactly where He will rapture us. It is when He returns. He never indicated anything else. But knowing where He returns in Revelation is also where people mess up. Some put His return after God's wrath. That's not right either. Paul told us exactly where it would be. At the last trumpet. And when you look there, there it is. Pretty simple and straightforward. I think God wanted it easy, but we've made it hard. BTW, pre-trib seems to be strictly an American belief. The rest of the world doesn't believe it, because they are being martyred left and right, so to hear someone say that God doesn't want a battered and bruised Bride, so won't let us suffer kind of falls on deaf ears.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16624728134929059941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1877303688216595760.post-79347375521006878932017-08-10T23:36:48.370-04:002017-08-10T23:36:48.370-04:00Thanks. past po...Thanks. I've been reading some of your
past posts that argue against the pre
trib position. Very interesting. Most of
the Bible prophecy teachers I've seen
on tv seem to hold to the pre trib position. I've always leaned that way
myself but really haven't studied scripture as much as I should have on
this subject. Thanks for your "contrarian" point of view.
Rob K
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02360709654989096433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1877303688216595760.post-8361898966610456062017-08-10T18:04:25.994-04:002017-08-10T18:04:25.994-04:00When the temple goes up in Jerusalem, you will kno...When the temple goes up in Jerusalem, you will know that we are in Daniel's 70th week. It will be the first year of that week. The seven years ends in the fall at the fall feasts, so depending on when the temple goes up during the year, back up to the fall before they started building it, and three and a half years from that point will be the abomination of desolation. Hope that helps.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16624728134929059941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1877303688216595760.post-23093058006587048272017-08-10T17:26:17.309-04:002017-08-10T17:26:17.309-04:00If the tribulation happens during our lifetime,
