Verse 14 “And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.”
The armies which were in heaven also ride white horses (naturally). We know who these riders are from their vestments. They are wearing fine linen, white and clean. We know that the bride of Mashiach received her fine white linen garments at the Judgment Seat of Yeshua. We also know who they are from Enoch. The prophet who lived before the flood prophesied this very event. “And Enoch also the seventh from Adam prophesied of these saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” Jude 1:14-15. It is amazing that a man who lived before the first worldwide judgment of God upon men, prophesied not of that event, but of the second judgment upon all mankind. There is yet a third one that will take place at the end of the Millennium when Satan rounds up everyone to try this once again.
Verse 15 “And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.”
Again we see the sharp sword of truth that proceeds out of the mouth of Yeshua. This is the sword of judgment with which He will judge the nations and punish them for their sins. There is a prophecy in the midst of the pronouncement of judgment, that the nations that He is punishing will survive (in a small capacity) to be ruled by Him. And He will rule with a rod of iron. Punishment will be swift and severe for those breaking God's laws under His rule. Sins and wrong behavior will not be tolerated the way we do today. God will rid the world of evil one way or another. If people will not conform, He will remove them. It then continues with another statement about how Yeshua will pour out God's wrath as grapes are pressed to produce wine. It will be a complete crushing and the blood will flow. This is a reference back to the description of the blood flowing as high as the bridle of a horse when the winepress was trod after the rapture when God's wrath is poured out.
Verse 16 “And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
He has a name written on his vesture (the upper part of the garment) and thigh. As the name crosses the upper part of His body across His thigh, the logical conclusion is that a sash (like Miss America wears) is across His body and on that sash is written King of Kings and Lord of Lords. There will come a day when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Yeshua is the Maschiach, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That He is God Incarnate and Ruler of the Universe. Today even many Christians limit Yeshua as to whom He is. They believe in evolution when the Bible (and unbiased science) clearly shows that the world was created in six days (by Him). (The fossil record was created by Noah’s Flood not millions of years. Fossils can only be created and preserved by quick catastrophic burial, not by natural deaths.) Christians call Him King of Kings, but many do not act as if they believe it. They have erroneously turned Him into a weak, spineless Lord who must tolerate our decisions to cut out of His Word what we do not like, and accept the criteria that we set up as to whom is given entrance into heaven. They neglect to acknowledge that He is also a Judge who will punish the world. Everyone will have to acknowledge who He is when He comes riding on His white horse with His name emblazoned across His chest.
